Dear Fellow Traveler,

If you are reading this right now that means you are planning on traveling to Costa Rica! Good for you I hope you are going to have a great time!

I went traveling with my sister, Louise, in November 2007 to Costa Rica. We did our research on Costa Rica by reading books and watching the odd video from the library, however we were not sure how to put everything together.

The first thing we did was look on the Trip Advisor and found Hotel Robledal. This was the best thing that happened to us. We met up with Emmanuel the next morning unaware of how much he was going to help us. Once we told him where we wanted to go and do he helped us do our agenda. Our original plan was to go West and work our way East. However Emmanuel advised us to do the opposite just because he had been watching the weather and knew it was going to be raining in the west. We took his advice and stayed dry the whole time... well most of the time considering you're in Costa Rica!

Emmanuel was kind enough to point us in the right direction. He would often drive us to our next destination or pick us up. While we were driving he would be always informing us of the customs and ways and had stories to tell us. He also was patient enough to help us with our Spanish, which we considered a bonus! The best quality is the uniqueness of our trip. Emmanuel grew up in Costa Rica and has a large network of people which came in very handy. He was able to show us things that people who pay for tours will never see. (I was able to fulfill a dream of water skiing in the tropics just because of him!) We compared a lot of things with fellow travelers and they were shocked on how much we were able to do in the short time we were there.

The Guzman family is very genuine. They are courteous and very happy to accommodate and the food was really good!

So what should you do when you go to Costa Rica? Stay at Hotel Robledal. You will get a holiday with a unique experience and your list of things to do will be completed!

Los conocimientos que tienes, el manejo de las actividades y tu carisma personal, te hacen una persona muy bien dotada. Y eso es todo tu merito, y el de tu familia.

Estamos seguros que ustedes van a llevar muy lejos la empresa familiar que tienen. Su experiencia y profesionalismo en el campo del turismo, los hacen únicos, de verdad. Espero que nuestros hijos en un próximo tiempo, tengan la oportunidad de solicitar su compañía. Mientras tanto, los felicitamos y les deseamos sigan con ese mismo entusiasmo, compromiso y amor por su trabajo.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the fine service we received from your bus service, and tour service while we were in Costa Rica. My husband and I lead a mission team of 31 missionaries from the United States there to minister to the Children of Boca De Arenal and Santa Teresa thru Watersports/Waterski ministry. Your shuttle daily to pick us up and deliver us to the lake, and the trips to the migrant villages to pick up the kids and bring them to the lake for the ski days....was amazing and above and beyond the call of duty. You did this with patience and kindness....never making us feel like an inconvience. I am so grateful for you and Lorenzo's awesome attitude !!!

Our excursion day when you gave us a tour of Arenal ...volcano, butterfly farm, zip lines, and Baldi Hot springs....was amazing. Your price was very very fair ....(as i did compare to other companies...) and your attitude and kind patience with us was a true blessing. By the end of the week....you know ...you guys were like really not just part of our team...but ....like ...family.

We truely love you guys, and will never never use anyone else ......in the entire Costa Rica nation ...but you.
You have our trust....and that is very important when traveling out of country. We always...felt safe..and cared for.
